Ballet & jazz group classes

Group classes begin June 19. Weekly group classes for kids, teens, and adults in a supportive studio—limited spots per section. Reserve your place or call the office for the schedule that fits your dancer.

Choose ballet or jazz by age group below. Sections are designed so pacing, technique, and choreography match the room. When you are ready, use the form to register your interest—we will confirm section placement and answer tuition questions before you commit.

Ballet

  • Ballet (Ages 5–8)

    Our Ballet class for ages 5–8 introduces young dancers to the joy and discipline of classical ballet in a fun and nurturing environment. Students build strong foundations through age-appropriate barre work, creative movement, and simple center exercises. Classes focus on posture, coordination, musicality, balance, and flexibility—while encouraging imagination, confidence, and self-expression. This class helps dancers develop both technique and a lifelong appreciation for ballet.

  • Ballet (Ages 9–12)

    This Ballet class for ages 9–12 is designed to develop strong classical technique while fostering artistry and confidence. Dancers build upon foundational ballet skills through structured barre and center work, learning proper alignment, strength, flexibility, coordination, and musicality. Emphasis is placed on discipline, focus, and expressive movement in a supportive and encouraging environment. As dancers grow, they are challenged with more complex steps and combinations, helping them develop both technical precision and a deeper appreciation for ballet as an art form.

  • Ballet (Ages 13-17)

    This Ballet class for ages 13–17 focuses on refining classical technique while encouraging artistic expression and individual growth. Dancers engage in structured barre, center, and across-the-floor work designed to build strength, flexibility, alignment, and control. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, musicality, performance quality, and ballet terminology. Students are challenged with increasingly complex combinations appropriate to their level, fostering discipline, confidence, and a deeper understanding of ballet as both a technical and expressive art form.

  • Ballet (Ages 18+)

    This class is designed for adults with little to no prior ballet experience, as well as those returning to ballet after a long break. In a welcoming and supportive environment, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of classical ballet technique at a comfortable, accessible pace.

    Classes focus on basic barre and center work, proper alignment and posture, coordination, musicality, and safe movement habits. Emphasis is placed on building strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness while learning classical ballet vocabulary and simple combinations.

    This class encourages progress, confidence, and enjoyment of movement, making it ideal for anyone looking to explore ballet as a new skill, a form of exercise, or a creative outlet.

Jazz

  • Jazz (Ages 5–8)

    This high-energy jazz class is perfect for young dancers ages 5–8 who love to move and have fun. Students will learn the basics of jazz technique through age-appropriate warm-ups, simple across-the-floor progressions, and playful choreography set to upbeat music. This class focuses on developing coordination, rhythm, flexibility, and confidence while introducing foundational jazz skills such as isolations, kicks, turns, and jumps. This class helps young dancers build strong movement foundations while fostering creativity, focus, and a love of dance—all while having a great time.

  • Jazz (Ages 9–12)

    This high-energy jazz class is designed for dancers ages 9–12 who want to build strong technique while having fun and gaining confidence. Students will learn age-appropriate jazz fundamentals including proper alignment, flexibility, strength, turns, jumps, and rhythmic movement.

    Classes combine across-the-floor progressions and upbeat choreography set to fun music. Emphasis is placed on performance quality, musicality, and teamwork, while encouraging dancers to express their personality and style.

    This class helps young dancers develop coordination, discipline, and confidence in a positive, supportive environment and is a great complement to ballet or other dance training.

  • Jazz (Ages 13-17)

    This high-energy jazz class is designed for dancers ages 13–17 who want to build strong technique while having fun and expressing themselves through movement. Dancers will learn classic and contemporary jazz fundamentals, including proper alignment, turns, jumps, flexibility, and dynamic performance skills.

    Classes include a structured warm-up, across-the-floor progressions, and age-appropriate jazz choreography that emphasizes musicality, style, and confidence. Students will be encouraged to develop their individual performance quality while working as part of a group.

  • Jazz (Ages 18+)

    This class is designed for adults ages 18 and over with little to no prior jazz dance experience, or for those looking to refresh the basics. In a fun, energetic, and supportive environment, students will learn the foundations of jazz technique while building strength, flexibility, and confidence.

    Class will include a warm-up focusing on proper alignment, mobility, and core strength, followed by basic jazz technique such as isolations, turns, kicks, jumps, and across-the-floor progressions. Students will also learn beginner-level jazz choreography that emphasizes musicality, rhythm, and expressive movement. This class is perfect for adults looking to stay active, explore dance for the first time, or enjoy the dynamic and expressive style of jazz in a welcoming setting.
